Here is a 1974 CB750 Honda that I am building into a Super classic Racer and boy is it a fun ride right now and still a little bit more to add to this Silver machine.
Now, the bike has one of MY recently created Dunstall style Gas tanks, complete with Solid polished Stainless flip top filler cap.
I have still to add the decal to the side of the tank and shall do it this week.
The bike has some cool looking parts as you can see and she runs great, infact i shaved a few pounds off the fly wheel and she moves pretty quick now.
The race pipe goes back to the days of Clubman racing, all the years I attended Snetterton Race track in the UK.
It barks really well and breathes better than a guy with three lungs.
This is JUST powder coated with 1000 Degree Black and looks awesome, the sound is nice too and I am sure someone will really like the way she sounds.
I have just gone through the carbs and jetted it to the pipe and now she is nice and snappy.
I just changed the oil and added a powder coated oil filter.
I fitted Original Akront racing rims from a true race bike in the 1970's from the UK, this really has a nice fat rear end and the same goes for the front.
I may change the front fender as i will most probably fit my New bobbed front fender.
Also I plan to add some stainless braided hose for the front brake, I stripped the caliper this morning and it had more crap in it than a 3 day old diaper.
So, new seal, new bleeder and New life in this brake, she now stops really well.
New pod filters on the carbs and this is a nice set up for you to ride, right now I am contemplating rear sets, as I think this would benifit alot, seeing as it is a Road racing machine, so stay tuned on that.
I shall change the headlight to a tri-Bar and also I shall fit an oil pressure Gauge to show ya her heart is pounding hard.
I drilled the front rotor by hand, just as my dad did when i was a youngster and now she stops really well.
This has Original KONI shocks from the 1970's too, true heritage from days gone by.
I am gonna add some more this coming week and this is up for sale. it has a title and I shall make sure that the tags are up to date as well.
Check the pics out and see what you think.
This week I shall add some video of me riding it and you can hear the exhaust sound too.
This is a fun machine built by me for anyone that wants fun and a taste of the past with all the old parts from when i was a kid.
